The ancient Silk Road gave rise to one of the earliest cross-border exchanges between civilizations. Vita, a Croatian cultural politics scholar and artist, has lived and taught in Xi’an for a decade. Currently a teacher of cultural communication at Xi’an Eurasia University, she adopts interactive teaching to connect and communicate with students.

古丝绸之路，开启了人类早期的跨国文明交流。来自克罗地亚的文化政治学学者、艺术从业者维塔，在西安生活、任教已有十年。现任职于西安欧亚学院、主讲文化传播课程的她，始终以互动化课堂方式，与学生开展平等交流。

Vita brings ethnic cultural objects and costumes into her classes to present China’s diverse ethnic cultures in a vivid and intuitive way. She has fully integrated into local life and developed a genuine affection for Shaanxi cuisine and local folk customs. As both a teacher and a grandmother, she keeps promoting people-to-people cultural exchanges between China and Croatia.

维塔将少数民族特色物品、服饰融入课堂教学，直观生动地展现中国多元民族文化风貌。她深度融入西安本土生活，由衷喜爱陕西特色饮食与民俗风情。身兼高校教师与祖母双重身份，她持续推进中克两国民间文化互动与友好交流。
